2019 Tevis Research Study

Thanks very much for participating in this study! First, please sign up to confirm participation in the 2019 Tevis Research Study. Pre-registration is not mandatory but allows us to confirm how many horses will be participating in the study.

Weighing your horse. Accurately measuring your horse before heading to the ride is vital for this study. Please read the Tevis Study Weigh-In Guidelines.

You will be filling out a form for each day of travel to the ride, including information about travel time and water/feed consumption. This can be filled out on paper (PDF form) or online (laptop/tablet/smartphone).

PAPER FORM. The completed paper form should be turned in at either the Red Barn, at the Auburn Fairgrounds, or at the ride sign-in table at Robie Park at the ride start location.

ONLINE FORMS. The online form consists of one form for the first travel day, and another form for each subsequent day of travel. Online form links:
