On the cover: ON THE COVER: Josie McGhee, 18, and TM Cade, her 8-year-old gelding, placed seventh at the 2008 River Run 50 in the Southeast Region. Cade had the second-highest vet score as well. Josie has 1780 miles and Cade, who Josie started “from scratch” three years ago, now has 610 miles. Endurance News is published monthly by the American Endurance Ride Conference. Endurance News is sent without charge to AERC members as a benefit of membership in AERC. Subscriptions are also available to non-members for $40 per year within the United States, and $60 in Canada and Mexico. For those in other countries, subscriptions are available for $80. Single issues are $4 US.
