International High Performance Fee
In order to compete in an FEI event, an International High Performance Fee of  $200 Sr./$100 Jr. must be paid annually.  The fee can be sent in with your membership application. The exception to paying the full amount is that you may compete in up to two FEI rides per year by paying an IHP fee of $50 Sr/$25 Jr. at each event.  As of the 2005 NAEC, the entire IHP fee had to be paid prior to entering the ride.

For Your Horse

USEF Lifetime Recording Certificate-$200 for horses 3 year & up.  Needed to obtain a passport

National ($50) or FEI ($300) Passport-as of 2005 National Passports  could be used at CEI**/*** rides and are upgradeable to full FEI status.  To enter the 2005 NAEC an  FEI passport was required.  An FEI passport is also required to compete in any FEI rides in Canada or abroad. (See Passports 101  for more information).
